Consent is more than a simple “yes” or “no.” Like many others, I watched the “Consent is like a cup of tea” video in school, but it downgrades the importance of consent with humor. Similarly, many romance books include moments of dubious consent or lack of communication that might not be addressed. Fiction is fiction, but we are influenced by the media we consume. So, let’s consume consensual content!
